Rodrigo Tarquino
Creative Director

Multi-disciplinary Colombian Creative Director, passionate about innovation, PR, and digital. In 2002 Tarquino joined Leo Burnett Colombia and under Juan Carlos Ortiz’s supervision (current President for DDB Latina), worked with accounts such as Banco Davivienda and Toyota. In February 2005 he joined DDB Colombia and won the first Gold (LIA)for DDB Colombia.

In 2006, Tarquino joined Mullen Lowe / SSP3 and under the guidance of José Miguel Sokoloff (GCC) and Francisco Samper, was recognized for work such as the “Heroes” Campaign for Pilsen Beer SAB Miller – Great EFFIE Colombia.

In 2007 Tarquino joined Leo Burnett Colombia. In early 2009 he traveled to Spain and worked for Ignition K, an agency led by Miguel Ángel Furones.

As a result of Tarquino’s excellent management skills at Leo Burnett, in 2010 he was promoted to Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Colombia, and was in charge of developing work for Renault, Nestlé, and Mambo.

In 2015 Publicis Colombia were awarded Best Agency in Colombia at El Dorado Festival, and also won their first Cannes Lion—the only Gold in their history, and also the first GP for Publicis Iberoamérica at El Ojo de Iberoamérica.

During 2016 the historical achievements continued for Publicis Colombia:

Best of Discipline and Gold in One Show, Yellow & Graphite Pencil in D&AD, and GP at the New York Festival.

In 2017 Tarquino joined DDB Colombia. From 2018 to 2021, DDB Medellín won 15 new contracts and began a period of digital transformation and expansion—doubling its office operation and consolidating itself as the most important agency in the city.

Then, in 2022 he began a new new stage in his career, moving to Weber Shandwick / McCann Mexico where his integrity and leadership are helping to develop high-level creativity for local and regional clients: Oppo, ExxonMobil, Mattel, FedEx, Animal Politico, L’Oréal, Ikea.
